🏆 Teacher of the Year — Stephanie Curtis

We proudly celebrate our 2024–2025 Teacher of the Year, Mrs. Stephanie Curtis, who exemplifies instructional excellence, student-centered learning, and a deep commitment to academic growth and school culture. Her passion, creativity, and dedication continue to inspire students and colleagues throughout our Hope-Hill community. 

Teacher of the Year Biography:

Mrs. Stephanie Curtis has been a proud Hope-Hill educator for the last 8 years.  She earned her undergraduate degree from Louisiana State University and then her Master of Early Childhood Education from Georgia State University.  Ms. Curtis currently serves as the gifted and talented development teacher at Hope-Hill.  She previously taught 1st grade and Kindergarten.  She has endorsements in gifted education and teaching English to speakers of other languages (ESOL).  

Mrs. Curtis believes that all students should have the opportunity for an enriching and experiential education.  In addition to her classroom teaching, she is the secretary of the Hope-Hill Go Team, sponsors reading clubs and several academic competitions, and supports student media and arts-integration activities at Hope-Hill.  

🌟 Support Person of the Year — Nicole Fluker

Congratulations to our 2024–2025 Support Person of the Year, Mrs. Nicole Fluker, whose exceptional service, teamwork, and leadership reflect Hope-Hill’s mission of supporting the whole child. Her positive impact helps ensure our school remains a welcoming and thriving environment for all.

Support Person of the Year Biography:

Ms. Nicole Fluker has proudly called Hope-Hill her professional home for the past 25 years. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education from Spelman College and a Master of Arts in Instruction from Central Michigan University. She also holds educational endorsements in Reading, ESOL, Dyslexia, and Instructional Coaching.

Ms. Fluker currently serves as the Instructional Coach for Literary Arts, bringing her passion for teaching, learning, and joyful literacy experiences to students and teachers alike. Before this role, she taught first, third, and fourth grades and served as an EIP teacher for students in grades 1–5.

Her commitment to nurturing confident, capable learners has made her a beloved member of the Hope-Hill community for more than two decades.
