Media Center

The Hope-Hill Elementary Library Media Center offers high-quality library media services that expose students to a diverse range of literary genres, enabling them to explore, discover, and develop their identities as readers. Our goal is to foster a lifelong love of reading while increasing exposure to both literary and informational texts.

The Media Center integrates technology, digital literacy, and Library Media Standards with the Georgia Standards of Excellence to support academic success across all subject areas. Atlanta Public Schools provides multiple digital learning applications through MyBackpack, including MYON, Beanstack (Race2Read), GALILEO, Accelerated Reader, and Canva, which are used to enhance and personalize each student’s reading journey.

Students are encouraged to check out books based on their reading level, personal interests, and instructional needs.

In addition, our Media Center includes a Makerspace that supports STEAM learning through hands-on, real-world, project-based experiences. Students collaborate, create, build, and engineer solutions while practicing critical thinking and problem-solving skills. For questions or additional information regarding Hope-Hill's Library Media Services, please contact:  Pricilla.Goodefow@apsk12.org
