Spelling Bee

Hope-Hill students in 1st through 5th grades may choose to participate in our annual spelling bees. We are registered with the Scripps National Spelling Bee and use all official word lists and rules published by Scripps and the Georgia Association of Educators.

We begin with classroom spelling bees, where students compete for a spot in grade-level bees. The top spellers from the 4th and 5th grade combined bee go on to compete at the Atlanta Public Schools Bee.

We are proud of all our spellers who participated in the classroom and grade-level bees! Our winners for the 2025-2026 school year are as follows:

1st Grade Winner:

Kewl Parkers

2nd Grade Winner:

Mason Gause

3rd Grade Winner:

Camden King

4th/Grade Grade Winners:

Legend Obuokiri: (Hope-Hill Champion).
He will move on to the District.

Kaden Poole: Runner-up/alternate
